I would like to find a surgical menopause support group.?
i had a hysterectomy back in april of 06 and can not take hormones, have been having episodes of feeling very very angry and agitated and episodes of severe crying, then feeling ok, along with hot flashes. the emotional stuff has been the toughest. i just feel sooooo b#@%chy sometimes I can’t help it, then other’s Im ok. I just thought a support group might help. antidepressants just seem to make it worse. Help!

I had my ovaries removed in May of ’06, so I know what you’re going through – except I have to take hormones since just my ovaries were removed, and I’ll be taking them for at least 20 years. I’ve looked for surgical menopause support groups, but can’t find any. Feel free to e-mail me if you need to vent… I’m a good listener.
